What are the restrictions on the implementation of the Technology Voucher Application Project?
Each Technology Voucher application project must be approved before implementation can begin, and each approved project should generally be completed within 12 months (unless otherwise specified in the funding agreement). However, this restriction does not apply to early completion of the project or postponement of the project completion date by no more than six months. However, the applicant must submit a written notice to the authorities in advance regarding the early or postponed project completion date . Each applicant can be approved for up to six projects, but the cumulative funding limit is HK$ 600,000 .

Can I receive the funding immediately after my Technology Voucher application is approved?
After verifying the relevant documents, the authorities will deposit the first installment of the grant, which will not exceed 25% of the approved project funding, into the same bank account. Final funding will be disbursed to applicants upon project completion and acceptance of the final project report. Upon project completion, applicants are required to submit a final project report, proof of achievement, payment invoice or receipt, etc. to the Innovation and Technology Commission in order to arrange for the approved funding to be reimbursed to a designated bank account.
