What does "iPhone Unavailable" mean?
This message appears if you enter the wrong passcode for your phone several times. The unavailability message does not appear after the first error, it happens gradually:

If the screen says "device unavailable", look at the bottom of the message - there should be an offer to "Erase device". If this option is not there, try entering the wrong password a few more times - a certain number of attempts are required for the device to become locked and erasable.

Confirm your intention again;
