We have a Facebook profile and a Fan page where you can share in groups and do other things. I entered the editorial area in 2014 and I was trying to get into groups of students, teachers, researchers, people who were dedicated to certain specific topics so I could share there the publications that were related to the topics they shared in those groups.
So, today we have reached a ridiculous number of groups in which we are, and we are sharing precisely the publications of the Fan page but from the personal profile in the groups. So, every day we have an agenda of the groups in which we are going to share this information.
To give you an example of the case that worked best for us, an average post of ours has around 1,500 bangladesh mobile database impressions. We put one of the Educational Innovation Essay Award, which was the project I was telling you about a moment ago, on the student pages that we have and this post, on the same day, went up to almost 32 thousand impressions. And, well, for free we gave it more than 21 times the normal reach that it would have had. And so that was the last of the ideas that we had, and we have been doing it for about four days, more or less.
As for good practice, I think the first thing you have to have is absolute knowledge of your product.
It's a must. If you're asked a question in person, or in a chat message, or on Twitter, or in a Facebook comment, or whatever, you should know the answer, and if you don't know it, you should be able to find it very quickly.
and comprehensive training of the people who are doing the marketing on product knowledge, on knowledge of what they are doing.
