SPLIT Development : "Worksectionhelped us understand where we were losing outbusiness"

Together with Ivan Trigub , co-founder and CEO of SPLIT Development , we discussed the formation of his company and the specifics of projects, the advantages of Worksection compared to Jira, as well as the problems of fixed pricing.
Tell us about your company
SPLIT Development was founded in 2019. I am the CEO of the agency. Our team deals with design and e-commerce. Now it is more Shopify and Wordpress , but we are gradually moving to Node.js. There are almost no clients in Ukraine, so we work with the Western market.

At first, we started working together with the co-founder iran mobile database of the company, Dmitry Karpov, and realized that at first we did not want to hire expensive specialists, since at the very beginning it was a bit“ kills” business.

Actually, I was a front-end developer, so we taught our acquaintances and friends front-end and that's how we started working with our first clients. I was engaged in sales, led projects and helped the guys by checking their code.

But we scaled up pretty quickly, projects started to appear, we hired a project manager. With these steps  ,  in about a year and a half, we reached Shopify. And now the Shopify developer team has grown to 11-12 people.
