What is a zombie computer?
A zombie computer is the result of a cyberattack similar to a traditional Trojan horse (malicious code written inside a normal code). Instead of simply installing a keylogger and stealing your personal data, the malware turns your computer into a zombie. Thanks to the infection, hackers can control it remotely. They often make it “work” together with other zombies. Together, this network of infected computers forms what is known as a botnet (or zombie army).
