Digital kit program: everything you need to know about the “digital bonus”

On December 30, the bases of the “Digital Kit” program were published in the BOE . This program, an initiative of the Government of Spain, aims to improve the competitiveness and level of digital maturity of small businesses, micro-enterprises and self-employed people by granting aid for the adoption of digitalization solutions available on the market. These grants come from the European funds “Next Generation EU” within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

Beneficiaries will receive financial aid based on their size , measured by their number of employees. The right to payment arising from the granting resolution is called a "digital bonus"
These grants will be managed by the Red.es Public Business Entity attached to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation.

Beneficiaries of the Digital Marketing Kit Program
They differentiate 3 segments of beneficiaries according to the number of employees:

(1) Segment I: Small businesses with between 10 and less than 50 employees. Amount of the digital bonus €12,000

(2) Segment II: Small businesses or micro-businesses with between 3 and less than 10 employees. Amount of the digital bonus €6,000

(3) Segment III: Small businesses or Micro-businesses with between 0 and less than 3 employees. Amount of the digital bonus €2,000

Requirements to be a beneficiary of aid:

Be a small business, micro-business or self-employed person in accordance with the definitions in Annex I of Regulation (EU) No 651/2014.
Not being considered a company in crisis in accordance with the provisions of article 2.18 of the aforementioned regulation.
Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations.
Not be subject to any other prohibitions provided for in the General Subsidies Law.
Be registered in the Census of entrepreneurs, professionals and withholding agents of the State Tax Administration Agency.
Do not exceed the de minimis aid limit .
Have the Digital Maturity Level assessment in accordance with the diagnostic test available on the Acelera pyme platform.
Each call will determine the segment or segments of beneficiaries that may apply for the corresponding public subsidy.

What activities can be included in this digital voucher?
The eligible activities are those included in the Program's Catalogue of Digitalization Solutions.

Specifically, the categories included are the following:

Website and online presence. Up to €2,000
E-commerce. Up to €2,000
Social media management. Up to €2,500
Customer management. Up to €4,000
Business Intelligence and analytics. Up to €4,000
Virtual Office Services. Up to €12,000
Process management. Up to €6,000
Electronic invoice. Up to €1,000
Secure communications. Up to €6,000.
Cybersecurity. Up to 6,000
Advanced internet presence. Up to €6,000

What steps do I have to follow to request the digital voucher?
To request the “digital voucher” you must follow 3 steps:

Check out the catalogue of digital solutions, where you can choose one or more of those offered by digitalising agents. The ones that best suit the needs of your business.

Apply for the Digital Kit grant at the Red.es website . Complete all the steps of the form that each call determines.

What are the obligations of aid recipients?
Comply with the obligations of the General Law on Subsidies, the Order approving the bases, and each specific call
Any other aid or subsidies for the same eligible expense from any Administration must be reported.
You must record in your accounting, in a separate accounting code, the details of all transactions related to the subsidized activity.
The beneficiary must declare all de minimis aid received during the two previous fiscal years and during the current fiscal year.
You must formalize the corresponding Digitalization Solutions Provision Agreements with the Adhered Digitalizing Agents.
It must provide the granting body with the information necessary to measure the contribution of the subsidized activity to the corresponding indicator established in the corresponding milestone or objective.
How can I use the digital voucher?
If you already know what activities you want to develop, you only have to access the catalog of digitalizing agents and decide with whom you want to develop your digital solution.

So you need to get in touch with the digitalizing agents, sign the digital solutions provision agreement and start your digital transformation.

The relationship between the company benefiting from the aid and the digitalising agents within the framework of the bases will be formalised by means of a Digitalisation Solutions Provision Agreement, which will include the functionalities to be implemented, their execution period, the obligations between both parties with respect to the aid granted, and the amount of the applicable "digital bonus".

Can I apply for the digital voucher now?
No, this option is not yet available. This option will soon be available on the website, but at the moment there is no list of digitising agents and no calls for aid have been opened.

On January 11, the form for Digital Agents to join was opened. Once there is a minimum number, they will begin to open the calls for aid, progressively for each segment.

The deadline for submitting applications will be at least three months from the publication of the corresponding call or until the budget credit for the call is exhausted. So you have to be quick, because it is expected that they will be exhausted sooner than expected.

Basic SEO includes keyword analysis, On-Page SEO for 2 pages or sections, indexing and content ranking.
Advanced SEO includes keyword analysis, On-Page SEO of all pages or services to be positioned, indexing and prioritizing content .
In this way, for each web project (page, product or service) a keyword research is carried out, a complete advanced keyword analysis taking into account the search volume based on the field of activity, the selection of the optimal keywords for each page, the definition of the positioning tags, optimization of URLs and the proposal of web sections based on the positioning.
