Once here, you can do a number of things. You can select the type of post you want to make, from highlighting news or an event to posting important updates related to COVID-19 and your business. If you're short on ideas, you can read some sample posts for inspiration. Finally, you can add an action button for Book Now, Order Online, Buy Now, Learn More, Sign Up, and Call Now.
Please note that posts are only active in search for 7 days from the time you publish them, and after another week (14 days total) they will no longer be visible to your visitors completely.
One last tip: While you can add up to 300 words, it makes more sense to write 100 or less so your post doesn't get cut off in the info panel.

It goes without saying that you should periodically check to see if you have any outstanding questions that a real user has asked through your GMB page. But did you know that you can also ask the questions yourself? And answer them? Yes. Because of the way Google My Business currently works, the list of questions doesn’t reference the author, but the answers do. What does this mean? That while people can’t see who asked the question, they can see that the business owner has answered it. If your business has a FAQ section on your website, there’s no stopping you from replicating it on your Google My Business page. Everyone wins: Google, your customers, and you.
How to fill out your questions and answers section
