What is the energy certificate?

Newly constructed buildings.
Buildings that already exist and are sold or rented to a new tenant.
Buildings owned or occupied by a Public Administration with a total usable area of more than 250 m².
Buildings in which renovations or extensions are carried out that meet any of the assumptions contemplated in the law .
Buildings with a total useful area of more than 500 m² provided they are intended for the following uses:
Sports.
Places of worship, religious uses and similar.
Buildings that are required to carry out a Technical Building Inspection or equivalent inspection.
Which buildings do not need the certificate?
Homes with less than 50 m² of usable area.
Properties where industrial or agricultural work is carried out.
Historical monuments or monuments of great architectural value.
Buildings that are purchased to be demolished.
Temporary constructions with a duration of less than two years.
