In its third market report 'Smarter Workspaces: Experience The Digital', Kyocera analyses the level of digital maturity of Spanish organisations and the main challenges for their digitalisation.

This third report, published on September 26, 2019, shows that the path towards digital transformation of organizations in Spain is maintaining an upward pace and sets the digital maturity of companies at 57%.

Although there has been progress in digitalisation, we are still far hungary phone number list from being a consolidated digital country. Progress is positive, but it is uneven. Among the main sectors that have made the most progress in digitalisation, we find a gap of more than 15 percentage points between the first and sixth.

The sector that is making the most progress in digital maturity is Distribution, Logistics and Retail with 68%; followed by Health-Pharmaceuticals with 62%; Public Administration is surprising with 61%; Financial Activities and Insurance with 59%; Industry with 54% and Services in sixth place with 52%.

There is also a gap depending on the size of the company. Digital maturity is more noticeable in organisations - public and private - with a greater number of employees. In companies with more than 5,000 employees, maturity is at 62% and falls to 55% among companies with 200 to 500 employees. However, the most positive result of the study is that in all of them a determined will to promote digital culture is observed, since, as stated by 90% of the organisations surveyed, it is a fundamental element towards digitalisation.

The challenge: reducing the distance between the front and back office
In recent years, companies have focused their efforts on adopting the technology necessary to meet their customers' expectations in terms of digitalization. However, the main challenge now is to transfer these improvements to the back office of organizations and ensure that the speed of transformation is aligned in both directions.
