If you are unable to improve a piece of content or if an update would require too many resources , removing it from your website may be a reasonable option. You may still have old seasonal marketing campaigns online that are no longer active.

Examples: content related to a particular event db center whatsapp number or activity, information about out-of-stock products, duplicate content, old campaigns.

Add a new “Status” column to your content audit spreadsheet to track your action plan:

Using the Content Audit tool , you can automatically organize your content into groups for further analysis and action:

Rewrite or remove old articles published more than 24 months ago that have received little or no views recently.
Update old pages that have recently received some traffic to boost their rankings.
Quickly review new pages that have received more than 150 views in the last month and think about how to improve them.
Identify poor content , such as short articles of less than 200 words, that require action.

Step 4: Develop an action plan
After evaluating your content, you need to come up with a plan to improve it. Your action plan should be based on your goals and the conclusions you have drawn from your analysis.

Set priorities
Before you develop an action plan for each URL, refer back to the goal or goals you established in Step 1.
