Caixa Capital Risc has co-led a seed-stage financing round for a total amount of two million euros in the Portuguese startup KIT-AR, dedicated to the development of augmented reality solutions for the industrial sector.

According to Caixa Capital Risc, CriteriaCaixa's venture capital manager, the operation also included the participation of the funds Armilar Venture Partners, Rkkvc and Techtree (managed by Iberis Semper), as well as follow-up investment from Sintef Venture V and Best Horizon.

KIT-AR is a startup whose augmented reality technology for frontline workers enables increased quality and efficiency in industrial and manufacturing production processes. Its solution leverages loan data augmented reality and artificial intelligence to identify, track and reduce production errors. Its workload includes the automotive, aerospace and electronics sectors, among others.

Since its creation, the company has received several awards, such as being selected for Sony's Startup Acceleration Program and being the winner of the 5G Accelerator Program, promoted by Amazon.
