Why your web hosting for 19,- / month can become very expensive

In history, we have met clients who, despite a generous budget for the creation of a project, strictly required the cheapest possible web hosting. Although I have nothing against cheap hosting (after all, for many typical projects, anything more expensive is unnecessary), if you are serious about the website , I recommend considering increasing your budget for web hosting, or at least monitoring it with one of the server monitoring services. Why?

The reason is that website traffic was easily predictable - a small blog had 10 visitors a day all year round, another client was an e-shop with 500 people a day with a maximum of 1000 a day before Christmas. Because web hosting companies also have to behave economically, they have to "load" as many clients as possible on each physical server so that it pays off for them and the website runs at least reasonably fast for clients. However, this is a relatively daunting task these days, because they can never know which website will shoot up to a hundred times its traffic in just one afternoon (e.g. by launching an advertising campaign or posting on a social network - 1 good picture is enough). Even if the hosting company has hardware resources that are several times larger than yours, a successful event by your neighbor on the web hosting (whom you don't know at all) can cost you a lot of money. Because how can you know that just when someone was about to make the largest order on your e-shop in the last year, your website is loading for several tens of seconds (reasons above) and they would rather buy elsewhere? The only thing you can do for this is to measure the availability of your website, and therefore opt-in not to trust your web hosting provider (albeit in a good way). The only option where your turnover will not be affected by a random neighbor on the same web hosting is to have everything on your own, dedicated server. Even the best web hosting company (I don't mean a purely cloud service) does not (yet) scale the server on which you have your website in a matter of seconds, sometimes minutes (and sometimes hours). So if you are preparing a new website or planning to redesign an existing one, don't forget about hosting.
