Our experience as Digitalizing Agents of the Digital Kit

In November 2021, the government announced the Red.es Digital Kit program for the digitalization of SMEs and self-employed workers, all very nice, very easy and in theory, very effective for both the beneficiaries and the Digitalizing Agents, but not all that glitters is gold, because today, we can say that the only beneficiaries have been the companies that have obtained the corresponding bonus and have been able to execute a tangible project.

The journey to become certified as a Digital Agent
During the month of March, the first companies that could provide digital solutions to small businesses began to be approved, the so-called Digitalizing Agents , and among them, Grartwork . The procedure is designed so that the Digitalizing Agent does not have to do practically anything, but by accepting different "Policies", the company or self-employed person accepts that Red.es verifies the information by cross-referencing the data with entities such as the AEAT, Social Security, etc. Perfect! But no, because in the end they ask you again for information that in theory they were going to collect themselves by accepting their "Policies".

According to the terms of the call, to become a Digital Agent, a company or job seekers database self-employed person must demonstrate through their billing that they have carried out " projects related to the solutions in the Digital Kit catalogue " for a volume of between €70,000 and €200,000 in the last two years, as well as not having any debts with the tax authorities or social security. If the aim is also to help agents to grow, they have left a large number of companies and self-employed people out of the catalogue for not complying with these aspects.

…and once approved
Once approved as Digital Agents , we embark on a strategy to attract potential beneficiaries and begin to sign new "agreements" through the platform that Red.es has enabled for this purpose. Once signed, the deadlines are as follows:

3 months to execute the project.
Once executed, the solution justification process begins. Depending on the type of project, it may take you between 1 and 3 days to gather and document all the information. This justification is sent to the beneficiary and, if everything is correct, it is validated by them.
Once validated by both parties, it is Red.es through the Chambers of Commerce that has to validate the solution within 1 month, but this is not being fulfilled. In our case, we have several projects justified since June 2022 but to date, none have been validated by Red.es.
Once the justifications are validated by Red.es, and in theory within 2-3 months, the Digital Agent should collect 75% of the corresponding bonus and 12 months later the remaining 25%. Only in theory, because not a single god has collected it yet!
